Events - Gorton Memorial Gardens Lights Switch On & Opening event

To celebrate the opening of the Gardens, there will be a Christmas Lights switch on event on Friday 3 December, 4.30pm - 6pm with lights switch on at 6pm. Guests include, Afzal Khan MP, local councillors, members from the Armed Forces, Wright Robinson College Choir Group, residents and community groups.

MSV Development Team have led the renovations of Gorton Memorial gardens, a once neglected area which attracted anti-social behaviour. This prestigious gateway site is now a place where residents can enjoy tranquil relaxation and reflection due to a collaboration between housing providers and Greater Manchester Police contributing towards a generous £26,020 cash injection.
