Reporting to an experienced Development Manager, you’ll be joining an established Growth and Development team. With sound knowledge of housing, building and project management ideally from a housing or housing related field, you will liaise with colleagues across the Group to assist with the delivery of our development programme and generate new business opportunities.

This is a hands-on role which is as much about building relationships with colleagues and external organisations as it is about successfully delivering projects to meet the ambitions of the MSV Growth Plan.

Suitably experienced, you’ll be customer focussed with the ability to communicate with colleagues, customers, partners and external agencies in line with our high performance culture and the ‘MSV Way’.

This is a permanent full-time post and the hours of work are 35 hours per week.

At the time of advertising, due to the current pandemic, MSV’s front line teams are working from their own homes and our interactions with external partners are through virtual means. We will continue to operate in this way until we are satisfied that the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers can be guaranteed before returning to the office in Stretford, Manchester. You will need a full driving licence and have access to a car as you will need to be able to travel as part of the role across the northwest and nationally as required.

As a key member of the Growth and Development team, you will be the first point of contact dealing with all enquiries in relation to sales and rentals, assisting the team to achieve its targets. You will effectively manage waiting lists and demand for new developments, ensuring customers are updated regularly on progress leading up to sales launch dates and achieving off-plan reservations on the back of early demand where possible.

Working closely with the Assistant Sales and Home Ownership Officer you’ll keep sales progress charts up to date as well as support updating of social media and website content marketing.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service delivers to potential purchasers and existing customers. Your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key. You’ll meet with potential customers, help to arrange sales events, prepare and send out marketing literature, prepare move-in packs for purchasers and ensure mailing lists are kept up to date.

With good administrative experience, you’ll be flexible and adaptable with excellent time management and planning skills. We’re looking for someone who is self- motivated with an eye for detail and is willing to learn new skills. You’ll also have effective oral and written communication skills, able to explain facts and ideas clearly.

You’ll be joining an established Repairs and Compliance Team assisting with the delivery and management of all regulatory, statutory and non-statutory requirements, working collaboratively across MSV. You’ll have management responsibility for the delivery, inspection and testing of compliance processes to provide a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to its customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key.

Suitably experienced, you’ll hold a NEBOSH or IOSH or Health and Safety Qualification, as well as a flexible and adaptable approach with strong problem solving skills. A recognised qualification in an asset compliance area (Gas, Fire, Asbestos, Electrical, Water Hygiene) would be desirable. You’ll be the main point of contact for the day to day operational delivery of the Group’s statutory compliance function, ensuring the smooth delivery of a first-class, value for money compliance service. You’ll be customer focussed with the ability to communicate with colleagues, customers, partners and external agencies in line with our high performance culture and the ‘MSV Way’.

This is a 12-month full time post and the hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Community Safety Officer

Are you an experienced and talented ASB / Community Safety Officer passionate delivering a high level of service to ensure our customers are safe, happy and well within our communities? Do you have a proven track record of dealing with complex ASB cases through to resolution? If so, read on…

You’ll be joining an established high performing Community Safety Team to work on actions to reduce crime and disorder across MSV communities. You’ll work collaborative across MSV championing Community Safety, taking responsibility for managing a case load of anti-social behaviour issues through to resolution, supporting vulnerable customers who may be subject to or perpetrators of anti-social behaviour, preparing cases for legal work including drafting witness statements’ and representing the group at court as and when required.

You will also be required to attend multi-agency meetings from time to time and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the group and external agencies. As a holistic role you will develop preventative measures and work within the communities to ensure they are safe and secure for our tenants.

The successful candidate will be pro-active in their approach, have proven communications skills, the ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers and be able to manage conflicting priorities with a demanding workload.

Reporting to the Head of Neighbourhoods, you will join our Neighbourhood management team working collaboratively across the Group taking an operational lead in the delivery of an effective community safety service. You will provide specialist advice to our Neighbourhood and Supported Housing Teams ensuring that appropriate measures are put in place to reduce and challenge antisocial behaviour within our communities.

You will lead, motivate and inspire a high performing team to deliver outstanding work, promoting a culture of ownership and contributing to a collaborative working approach. You will lead on policy implementation and progressing legal action as and when required and ensure an effective, risk based, proactive service with a high level of customer satisfaction in all areas of community safety.

The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting customers to remain safe in their homes allowing them to fulfil their tenancy. You will be flexible and empathetic to the needs of your team and our customers, have a reflective approach when dealing with sensitive issues and have sound knowledge of all areas of community safety.
