Reporting to an experienced Capital Investment Manager, you’ll work closely with the Sustainability Lead, supporting the delivery of MSV’s Sustainability Strategy and action plan to achieve targets across the organisation’s housing stock, new developments and business operations. With experience of carrying out basic property inspections, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that MSV meets all its regulatory, international and national compliance standards. You will assist with the coordination of all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy.
This is a hands-on role which is as much about building relationships with colleagues and external organisations as it is about promoting and raising awareness of the impact of emerging environmental issues.
Suitably experienced, you’ll be customer focussed with the ability to communicate with colleagues, customers, partners and external agencies in line with our high-performance culture and the ‘MSV Way’.
This is a permanent full-time post and the hours of work are 35 hours per week.
At the time of advertising, due to the current pandemic, MSV’s front line teams are working from their own homes and our interactions with external partners are through virtual means. We will continue to operate in this way until we are satisfied that the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers can be guaranteed before returning to the office in Stretford, Manchester. MSV operate core hours for our customers, however, our agile style of working means that you can work your hours around family and homelife commitments. We know that a committed and dedicated member of the MSV team doesn’t clock watch. Our focus is on getting the job done!
You will need a full driving licence and have access to a car as you will need to be able to travel as part of the role across the northwest and nationally as required.
