1.7 million adults in the UK experience anti - social behaviour every day - Resolve

At MSV, we believe everyone deserves to feel happy, safe, and comfortable in their homes and neighbourhoods.

To mark Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week, we are highlighting our commitment to tackling neighbourhood issues, reminding customers about our local drop-in sessions, and new mediation service to help resolve neighbour disputes peacefully.

Free Mediation Service

Sometimes, simple misunderstandings with neighbours can escalate and cause unwanted stress. To help you find a peaceful way forward without the need for courts or legal action, we have partnered with Link Mediation to offer a free and confidential dispute resolution service.

The service offers flexible options tailored to your needs:

  • Face-to-Face: A conversation in a neutral, comfortable venue.
  • Shuttle Mediation: No pressure to speak directly. The independent mediator acts as a go-between, speaking to each person separately to find a resolution.
  • Conflict Coaching: One-on-one support to help you learn skills to de-escalate disagreements on your own.

Note: Mediation does not replace strict tenancy enforcement. If there is evidence of serious ASB or a breach of tenancy, MSV will still take  legal action.

Our Anti-Social Behaviour Service Promise

We want you to report neighbourhood concerns with absolute confidence. As a national hate crime reporting centre, anyone in the community - resident or not - can report incidents to us completely anonymously.

As part of our commitment to you, we promise to:

  • Respond within 24 hours to serious ASB reports involving violence, threats, harassment, or domestic abuse
  • Remove reported graffiti within one week (unless under police investigation)
  • Promptly investigate fly-tipping on MSV land and charge those responsible for its removal
