Positive Futures, based at Space Manchester on Great Western Street in Manchester, is a welcoming employment, training and community hub - helping MSV customers and local residents gain new skills, improve wellbeing, and move closer to work.
Working with local partners, the hub offers a mix of skills development, wellbeing activities, and environmental projects — all designed to create opportunity, confidence, and community connections.
The Positive Futures training space is free and open to people of all ages, who live in MSV's neighbourhoods.

Making a real impact
In 2025, our Community Mentor worked closely with around 86 people, providing one-to-one guidance and encouragement to help secure employment, gain digital skills and build confidence, and motivation for the future.
So far this year, over 50 new learners have joined community mentor programmes, receiving digital support including tablets to access job searches, online learning, and employers.
To help people prepare for work, 16 vouchers have been issued to cover interview clothing, travel, and training costs.
Job Fairs at Positive Futures
We also host regular Job Fairs all around Greater Manchester, bringing together employers, training providers, and support organisations from across Greater Manchester.
These events are a great way to explore career options, discover local opportunities, and connect directly with employers in a friendly and supportive setting.
