Nominations are open for the MSV Shining Stars Awards 2027!
Across our neighbourhoods, incredible people give their time, support others and help make their communities better places to live — and we want to celebrate them.
Perhaps you know a neighbour who always lends a helping hand, a young person doing something inspiring or a volunteer who goes above and beyond. Your Shining Star could also be an involved customer, a community group or a local project bringing people together and creating positive change.
Whatever they have done, we want to hear their story.
The award categories recognise achievements including good neighbours, volunteering, community action, support for the environment and long-term dedication to others.
Making a nomination is simple. Tell us who your Shining Star is, what they have done and why you believe they deserve to be recognised.
All eligible nominations will be reviewed by our judging panel, and finalists will be invited to the MSV Shining Stars Awards ceremony at The Lowry Theatre on Wednesday 20 January 2027.
