Stop Fly-Tipping: Keep Our Streets Clean
Fly-tipping is the illegal dumping of waste. It is a criminal offence that can lead to heavy fines or a prison sentence.
If you pay someone (like a private "man-with-a-van") to take your waste, you are legally responsible for where it ends up. Always check they have a valid Waste Carrier Licence.
How to Report Fly-Tipping
If you see rubbish dumped on public land or witness someone in the act, please report it immediately to help the council clear the area and investigate.
