Find out more about hate crime and how to report it in our short video below:

It’s Hate Crime Awareness Week, and we want to reiterate that we have a zero-tolerance policy for any behaviour motivated by hate.
Hate crime has no place in our communities. Everyone has the right to feel safe, and we all share the responsibility to stand against hatred and discrimination.
Hate crime—which is motivated by prejudice towards an individual's race, faith, sexual orientation, gender identity, perceived disability, or any other characteristic—is particularly harmful. It impacts not only those who experience it but also the security and well-being of our whole community.
We're proud that MSV is a national hate crime reporting centre. This means you can speak to us instead of the police if you prefer. Our Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Team has been fully trained to support victims, submit police reports, help prevent escalation, and better understand Hate Crime and Hate Behaviour in our communities.
Crucially, we offer a supportive space for everyone affected by hate crime—not just our customers. We are here for the whole community.
To understand more about hate crime and how to report it, please take a moment to watch this short video featuring our ASB Officer Beth.
You can contact MSV 24 hours a day to report any incidents in strict confidence on 0161 226 4211. Alternatively email staysafe@msvhousing.co.uk or drop in to one of our four hubs.
