Give And Gain 3

We have had a fantastic response to Give and Gain month with over 100 colleagues getting involved so far. Thanks for all their hard work, they have made a massive difference!

So far colleagues have carried out the following Give and Gain days:

  • Compliance/Facilities and Strategy teams tidied the gardens at You Can Community Gardens and held events and games at the Carrbrook Community Hub

  • The team at The Lodge gardened and created hanging baskets at the Manchester Foyer

  • The Planned Works team worked with the team at Khubsuret House to put on a 1950s themed afternoon tea at Khubsuret House 

  • The CCT team held an afternoon tea, games and gardening at Elmswood Park 

  • The team at Manchester Foyer painted the entrance and corridor at Forest Court 

  • Customer Voice and Influence colleagues gardened for vulnerable customers

  • Trevor Able and Brian Dury jet washed the flags at Clarence Gardens

  • The People and Talent team held coffee and cakes, bingo, bowls and crafts at Elmswood Park

  • The Gas team cleared and weeded a huge area of land on Ruston Drive, Bramhall

  • Area Repairs colleagues painted 7 fence panels and gates at Spring Street, Bury 

  • Area Repairs (Voids) cut overgrown grass for a vulnerable customer in Clitheroe removed 6 large planters and cleaned up an area in Bolton.  They also built planters, and cleared and tidied the outdoor areas at Margaret Ward Court

  • The Area Repairs team (Dan’s team) tidied up and weeded land at Woodgate Close Bredbury

  • The Zone 2 Neighbourhood team were in Stalybridge weeding, litter picking and ensuring abandoned cars had been removed from our car parks. The team worked in partnership with Tameside Council, CPD and local PCSO’s. They attended the Carrbrook Hub to ensure residents were happy with the work carried out.

  • Planned Works team re-did the planters 9and arranged for them to be painted) at Jean Byers Community Hub and tidied up the colleague area to the rear of the Space Stockport

  • Blackburn Foyer carried out maintenance work at their Local Scouts Hub

  • Income and Financial Resilience team helped out at The Bread-and-Butter Thing
