It's Knife Crime Awareness Week and we're proud to share that we are leading an important new initiative, Blunt Truth, to raise awareness of knife crime in Moss Side, Hulme and Rusholme.
We are working with young people and our partners, Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Police (GMP), Jigsaw Homes, CEG, The Powerhouse, Hideaway, Kyso, and Street Doctors.
Knife crime has risen by over 70% in Greater Manchester in the last decade, and 1,500+ knife-related incidents were reported last year alone. Blunt Truth will deliver early intervention and education that aims to save lives.
