Burnley Homecare & Repair

Our Homecare and Repair service in Burnley helps vulnerable people stay in their homes.

We are a Home Improvement Agency - a ‘not for profit’ company - part of Mosscare St Vincent’s.

We act in your best interest to help vulnerable people to repair or improve their homes. This applies to households which includes the elderly or disabled people or family members in receipt of means tested benefits.

Most home owners will need to arrange for repairs or improvements at some time and many vulnerable people have been victims of unreliable or dishonest contractors.

We maintain a panel of contractors, covering a wide range of trades, who have been chosen because of good workmanship, value for money and reliability.

Please contact us and we will arrange for a contractor to give you an estimate.

We can also arrange for advice on possible funding sources and technical advice.

Emergency and urgent jobs

If you need work doing urgently we will try to resolve your problems as soon as possible.

Extensive or complicated jobs

We can arrange for our Caseworker to call to see you at home to obtain full details of the work and to see if funding can be found to help to meet the cost.

We can then give technical advice including the preparation of specifications to ensure that the work is done to your satisfaction.
