Events - Picnic in the Park

Picnic in the Park is back this July and we would love for you to join us!

This will be the 4th Picnic held in Abney Park with the Cheadle Civic Society and previously Cheadle-Get-Connected. With the support of SMBC so pleased to be able to host this event for the community for FREE! 

The event will take place on Sunday 17 July, 12-5pm
Abney Hall Park, Cheadle, SK8 2BE

We’re back outside The Great Abney Hall with a further 2 sites to accommodate goodies galore, food, drinks, makers, community groups and local businesses. And of course, the ‘greatest’ show!

Site 1: Outside Abney Hall

Site 2: The Courtyard ..between the waterfall and the orchard.

Site 3: ‘The Secret Garden’ ..the centre farmers field. 

This year there will also be the opportunity to camp under the Abney stars at the Cinema Sleepover in ‘The Secret Garden’

While announcements are still on the way, already booked local dancers, singers and surprises to entertain all ages at the intergenerational celebration.
