There has been extensive media coverage recently regarding the presence of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) in a number of public buildings in England.
The Regulator of Social Housing has said that RAAC ‘is not widespread in social housing’.
However, MSV takes the wellbeing of all its customers extremely seriously and their safety is our number one priority.
We are confident that our housing stock is not affected by this issue, however we will carry out further investigations and continue to follow the advice and guidance set out by the Regulator of Social Landlords and National Housing Federation who have provided a response on behalf of its members here.
