International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia

Monday, 17 May 2021

International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia was created in 2004 to draw attention to discrimination experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex people and all other people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics.

Hate crime is a serious issue for LGBT people, and experiencing it can have a significant impact on an individual's emotional wellbeing. We believe everyone has the right to feel safe and that we all have a responsibility to stand against hatred and discrimination.

Report in confidence

Here at MSV, we offer a safe space for anyone experiencing hateful behaviour from others. We are an approved Hate Crime Reporting Centre, which means you can report incidences in confidence to our Community Safety Team.
