Checklist for Self-Isolating Safely

Tuesday, 25 May 2021

If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild, you should begin self-isolating and book a test. If you or a member of your household's test result is positive you should not leave your home for 10 days from when the symptoms started.

Self-isolating will help protect others in your community while you are infectious. You are not alone if you find doing this hard. Planning ahead, even before you have been told to self-isolate, can make things easier.

10 Ways to do your 10 Days

1. Know your 10 days - keep track on the NHS Covid-19 app 6. Get care for anyone who depends on you
2. Tell your work 7. Protect your mental health
3. Plan your money  8. Keep moving at home
4. Arrange food, medicines, and essentials 9. Look after your pets
5. Continue your children's education  10. Get any other help you need
