You’ll be joining our established Property Services team which provides day to day, void and capital works programmes across MSV properties. As someone with experience of working as an Test & Inspection Electrician, you’ll produce services to a high standard while managing and prioritising your workload.
As a core member of the Property Services team you’ll be responsible for inspecting and testing fix wiring of occupied and void properties, completing certification to NICEIC standards. You’ll have experience of carrying out electrical testing in domestic and commercial properties using standard test equipment and interpreting results.
We’re looking for an experienced test and inspection Electrician. As we look to provide a flexible service to our customers, you would also be required to undertake reactive repairs. This would include the maintenance, installation and modernisation work of electrical systems for buildings, equipment and grounds.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to our customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key. You’ll be based in the communities we serve and will work under minimum supervision and as part of a team using a flexible approach.
Suitably qualified with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Test and Inspection (2391/2394/2395) and ideally 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, you’ll also need a full UK driving license as well as a full well-maintained tool kit at all times.
