You’ll be joining an established Repairs and Compliance Team assisting with the delivery and management of all regulatory, statutory and non-statutory requirements, working collaboratively across MSV. You’ll have management responsibility for the delivery, inspection and testing of compliance processes to provide a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to its customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key.
Suitably experienced, you’ll hold a NEBOSH or IOSH or Health and Safety Qualification, as well as a flexible and adaptable approach with strong problem-solving skills. A recognised qualification in an asset compliance area (Gas, Fire, Asbestos, Electrical, Water Hygiene) would be desirable. You’ll be the main point of contact for the day to day operational delivery of the Group’s statutory compliance function, ensuring the smooth delivery of a first-class, value for money compliance service. You’ll be customer focussed with the ability to communicate with colleagues, customers, partners and external agencies in line with our high-performance culture and the ‘MSV Way’.
This is a permanent full-time post and the hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
At the time of advertising, due to the current pandemic, MSV’s front line teams are working from their own homes and our interactions with customers are through virtual means. We will continue to operate in this way until we are satisfied that the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers can be guaranteed when visiting customers properties and returning to our office in Stretford, Manchester. MSV operate core hours for our customers, however, our agile style of working means that you can work your hours around family and homelife commitments. We know that a committed and dedicated member of the MSV team doesn’t clock watch. Our focus is on getting the job done!
Given the geographical spread of our stock, we require the successful candidate to hold a valid Driving Licence and have access to a car.
