Reporting to the Older Persons Services Manager, the rewarding role of Scheme Manager is an exciting and dynamic one, with no day the same as the last.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of the scheme, providing an excellent holistic customer service which meets and exceeds expectations, supporting the needs of the individual, and promoting happy independent living.

You will foster a friendly community atmosphere with great people skills, a ‘can do ‘attitude and empathy towards our residents. As well as being a people person, you’ll also be business minded and always be on the lookout for opportunities to improve and enhance the service for our residents. You will also liaise with residents and families (working in partnership with external agencies) to ensure that residents’ needs are met.

You will get the best of both worlds with opportunities to work as part of the wider Older Persons Services team and on your own, as only yourself and a Scheme Assistant will be based at the Scheme. Experience of working with older people is essential as is an understanding of their practical and emotional needs. You will also need experience of housing management, welfare benefits, safeguarding and be IT literate.

With staff management responsibility and overseeing any contractors when on site you will be able to remain calm under pressure, be self-motivated and have excellent communication Skills.

Due to the nature of this post, the successful candidate will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Are you an experienced professional passionate about delivering a first-class aids and adaptations service in a customer-focussed way? If so read on…

You’ll be joining an established Asset Management Team working with our customers, external agencies, contractors and other teams within MSV to provide an excellent service whilst maintaining control of quality of works, budgets and key performance indicators.  You’ll work collaboratively across MSV championing customer needs, taking ownership of requests for adaptations services, ensuring that they are prioritised and progressed in good time.

But you won’t be sat in an office, hiding behind your laptop!  This is a hands on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to its customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key.

Suitably experienced, flexible and adaptable with strong problem solving skills, you’ll be highly motivated, innovative and driven to ensure that adaptations services meet the needs of the residents concerned and offer good value for money. You’ll also be a strong team player with the ability to communicate with colleagues, customers, partners and external agencies in line with our high performance culture and the ‘MSV Way’.

This is a 12-month full time post and the hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.  You’ll be based at our head office in Trafford, Manchester, however our agile style of working and flexible working hours mean that if you need to collect the kids from school, no problem.  Want to work late finishing a report and take the time back the next day, go ahead. We know that a committed and dedicated member of the MSV team doesn’t clock watch. Our focus is on getting the job done!

Are you a qualified Painter and Decorator with proven experience with a customer focussed approach and desire to provide services to a high standard?  If so, read on….

You’ll be joining our established Property Services section which provides day to day, void and capital works programmes across MSV properties.  As someone with experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide painting and decorating works for the Group to a high and consistent standard.

As a core member of the painting team you’ll assist in carrying out day to day repairs, work on void properties as well as delivering internal and external decoration refurbishments on the cyclical painting programme.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role along with previous training.  Holding an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is essential and you must have experience of maintenance work on domestic properties and also of the ordering of materials.  With the ability to work in a variety of conditions, you will work well on your own and as part of a team. You will be expected to supervise an apprentice and ensure they receive the training and mentoring to achieve their training requirements.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to our customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key.  You’ll be based in the communities we serve and will be self motivated, able to work under minimum supervision and have a friendly, professional manner.

You’ll need a full UK driving license as well as a full well maintained tool kit at all times.

We're looking for 2 Customer Communication Assistants to join an established Customer Communications Team, focusing on a ‘one stop shop’ approach dealing with customer queries at first point of contact through a range of communication methods from telephone calls to face to face contact on our reception.

You will have similar/previous experience, adaptable and with a positive can do attitude you will be able to adapt to the varying demands and challenges within the Customer Communications Team. The successful candidates will be able to evidence they can deal with difficult situations and use a problem solving approach to respond to enquiries.

You will be calm and confident when answering queries, working with minimal supervision, and have experience of working to tight deadlines resolving issues at first point of contact with a flexible approach to suit customer demand.
